Darıca
Darıca takes its name from Darıca Castle, of which only one bastion has survived to the present day. Darıca Castle is used by the Byzantines for the purpose of withholding against the attacks that may come from outside and is called "Tararion". Darıca joined the Ottoman lands with the Palekonon War in 1329.
Darıca, which is also the subject of Evliya Çelebi's “Seyahatname” is mentioned there under the name "Narrow End".
