Click for directionsLocated in Gebze, the building is among the most important works in Kocaeli of the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. The complex, which was named after Coban Mustafa Pasha, who undertook the duty of vizier in the time of Kanuni, was built in 1523. There is a mosque, tomb, madrasah, library, caravanserai, hospital, and almshouse in the complex, where a balanced geometric order stands out. It is seen as one of the most successful examples of Menzil complexes.
