The mansion, which was built with the boat building technique in Istanbul Yıldız Palace and moved in pieces and settled in Kocaeli Hereke, was built by the German emperor Kaiser II. It came to life through Wilhelm's visit to Izmit in 1884. The architect of the mansion, which has a completely wooden construction, is Raimondo d'Aronco. Hereke carpets and silk upholstery accompany the pavilion.
