Kartepe Ski Center, located at an altitude of 1602 m, opens its doors to winter sports lovers in December. With 4 mechanical ski facilities and a 42 km long track area with 14 tracks, the center welcomes athletes of different difficulty levels and provides opportunities for different sports activities such as snowboarding, snowmobile, ATV, and big foot. It is possible to reach Kartepe Ski Center, which is located on the top of the mountain with a view of Izmit Bay and Sapanca Lake, by a forest road starting from Maşukiye.
