Located in the center of the Gebze district, the tomb belongs to Malkoçoğlu Mehmet Bey, a member of the Malkoçoğlu dynasty, who served the Ottoman Empire as Akıncı Bey. Although it is known that Mehmet Bey died in 1385, there is no definite information about the construction date of the tomb. The tomb, which has the same features on all its facades, bears the characteristics of Ottoman Turkish architecture.
