The Süleyman Pasha Bath, also known as the "Dere Bath" or "The Upper Market Bath" in the region, was built by Şehzade Süleyman. The bath, which was built by Süleyman Pasha, the son of Orhan Gazi, is the earliest dated Ottoman period bath in Izmit that has survived to the present day.
