Located in Izmit's Haci Hasan District, the mosque was built in 1631. The fact that it was not damaged in natural disasters is an important detail about the building. The mosque, which has survived through various repairs, also includes the tomb of Yumurtacı Muhammet Ali Ağa in its garden, after which it was named.
